Not a coincidence

I visited the international urban design festival/congress #CANactions in Kyiv about the topic of ‘communities’. Looked at from a national and international perspective. How to cooperate between local initiatives and governmental structures? How to act as a professional in a new context of stakeholders and activists?
And just before that I was in Ternowa, a very small village in eastern Ukraine, where I made some ultra quick sketches for local public space in 2018. This was the base and inspiration for this initiative of a new park. Built by #burcamp volunteers from other cities, together with the local community.
The best combination of talking, acting, learning, doing, discussing, informing, trying, making, exchanging.
